Likely most of the PCBs in a modern laptop will have multiple layers, so you'll also need to delaminate the board to be able to reverse engineer geometry on the inner layers. Here's a hackaday link about reverse engineering a low density 2-layer board. This is also pretty hard, but likely less expensive than trying to buy designs from a multi billion dollar corporation. Reverse engineer the assembly in question yourself. Get in direct contact with the company that developed the product and offer to pay whatever they want (which you seem to indicate you don't have the budget for), or2.
